RETRAT PRIM

In the summer of 2021, I painted the first portrait of my artistic career, this so-called “Retrat prim” (“First Portrait”). Having never tackled this subject matter before, I began painting small-format portraits reduced to the bust. At the same time, I sought both to faithfully reproduce the sitter’s features and to capture their emotional expression.
