SOFIA A L’ESTANY

Portraiture is the leitmotif of my work, a constant presence that runs parallel to the development of other series. In this case, the sitter is depicted by Lake Banyoles on a sunny day. The work is executed with loose, vibrant brushwork, exploring different textures to create depth, with the colour patch taking precedence over the precision of line.
