BANYISTES

L’any 2025 torna per fi la llum. Transcendint velles creences i començant a deixar-me veure, va emergint al mateix temps la sèrie dels banyistes: trac els figurants fora, recuperant la il·luminació natural i reintroduint la temàtica del paisatge, tan treballada en èpoques pretèrites, encara que siga només com un fons. Enrere resten els interiors foscos i freds amb figures solitàries que són substituits per composicions de múltiples jóvens que comparteixen i interactuen. La transmutació de l’aïllament i la tristesa de la vida gris i inercial anterior en una nova concepció de la realitat, començant a habitar no des de la raó o la lògica, sinó des d’un lloc acord amb la meua naturalesa, atenent, per fi, els dictats del cor.

In 2025, my personal evolution and breaking away from old beliefs coincides with the emergence of the Bathers series. As an expression of beginning to allow myself to be seen, I bring the figures outdoors in my paintings, bringing back natural light and reintroducing the theme of landscape, which I had explored extensively in earlier periods. I leave behind the dark, cold interiors and their solitary figures, while compositions of multiple young people who share and interact with one another emerge. A manifestation of the transmutation of the isolation and sadness inherent in my previous grey, inertial life into a new conception of reality. Beginning to inhabit it not from reason or logic, but from another place more in tune with my nature, finally listening to the dictates of the heart.
